Cheese 201: Farmstead Cheddars & British History through a Cheesemaker's Lens

Quicke’s Cheddar is one of the oldest and most well-respected dairies in the UK. In fact, it’s the only English Cheddar we carry, and among our best sellers.

Poppy Bethell Vickers, Quicke's US Export Manager, spends an evening with us to share the the whole Quicke's story, from its inception to its survival and determination. Along the way we'll learn about Cheddaring, territorial cheeses, the struggle to keep traditional British cheeses in production and what differentiates traditional styles from contemporary. We’ll sample multiple styles of cheddar, including various milk types, and will pair each one with wine, beer or cider. A guaranteed delicious learning experience for all.
