Camembrie

Pasteurized Cow Milk, Blue Ledge Farm, Leicester, VT

A mild, friendly cow’s milk cheese that is Blue Ledge Farm’s take on a Camembert/Brie hybrid! Made with the cows’ milk from the milk of neighboring Crawford Family Farm, each wheel is coated with a thin, mushroomy rind that adds beautiful depth of flavor to the buttery, gooey paste beneath. The cheese ripens over a period of 6-8 weeks, during which time the smooth creamy flavors develop, change, and intensify until the wheels are perfectly ripe and ready to enjoy.

Quicke’s Goat Cheddar

Pasteurized Goat Milk, Devonshire, England

Newton St Cyres has a population of about 550. It’s been the home of Mary Quicke’s family for 15 generations, and is where Ms. Quicke makes her incredible bandaged wrapped, enormous cheeses, demonstrating history and dedication and exceptional industriousness. The goat milk used here is locally sourced, buttery & tangy and wondrous. The clothbound style of Cheddaring makes for a slightly dryer, more crumbly consistency than traditional American Cheddar styles. We love it – like, really, really love it – with Plum jam.

Roquefort Gabriel Coulet

Raw Sheep Milk, Gabriel Coulet, Roquefort sur Soulzon, France

The legend of Roquefort tells the tale of a young shepherd who left his curd and bread for a week, only to find it blue yet scrumptious upon his return. This Roquefort, produced by Gabriel Coulet, dates its heritage to 1872 when the perfect aging room was discovered in the Coulet cellar. Creamy, velvety, refined and full of personality, this Roquefort will impress anyone who appreciates a little penicillium Roqueforti now and again.

Spotted Trotter Sujuk Salami

Atlanta, GA

Made with our blend of Humanely Sourced and Pastured Beef and Lamb, we toast cumin and blend it with Organic Garlic and Georgia Sumac. This rich blended salami pairs wonderfully well with most soft ripened cheeses and especially well with aged sheep’s milk hard rind cheeses. Partner with Deep Bodied Reds like Zinfandels and Cabs but will also hold up against Rose in the summer time. For a beer pairing Porters and big Farm-house Ales will make a great accompaniment.

Second Mouse Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Calabria, Italy

Our private label organic extra virgin olive oil is made from a blend of olives in Italy’s Calabria region. It’s grassy, a little buttery and finishes with the slightest touch of bitterness, rounding out the whole experience. Grab a bottle, but don’t throw it out when you’re done. We’ll refill it for you and shave a few bucks off the purchase.

Our Cheese of the Month Club started as a means of supporting small, regional artisan producers during the hardship of COVID. It was an enormous success, and we’re proud to have given a little boost to the hard working folk who provide us with nourishment and joy. Each month, we also gave 10% of our Club’s sales to a Charity or Agricultural Organization doing something we thought noble. We’ll be keeping that custom moving forward, but expanding the selection a bit to include cheeses from across the US and around the world. Each month will feature small-batch products made by real humans with genuine love for the products they bring to market. Three cheeses, a curated sweet or savory condiment, and crackers or biscuits are always included, as are descriptions of what you’re about to enjoy. Some months may include an added bonus. A collection of artisanal goods, a hint of whimsy, a sprinkling of feel-good, and a hefty portion of delicious. Also - commitments as short as one month. Whatcha waitin’ for?
